Project: Busembatia

This community in northeast Uganda will be home to the first Stewardship Development Center.

Busembatia qualified for this project because of the excellent stewardship demonstrated by the Musasizi family and their community development team, that have worked for fifteen years building value for hundreds of families and their children, dozens of new businesses, and have crafted a five year sustainability plan that is collaborative, inclusive, and can be used as a model in other African communities.

This SDC will encompass the existing elementary school, the SEED Africa agricultural enterprise training program developed locally, the Collaboration between the school and the training program that has already resulted in a 17 Acre Farm, the Credit Union that was formed locally.
