The Life Systems Model

The Life Systems Model was developed by Erl Morrell-Stinson, thought leader in human dynamics and systems thinking, and co-founder of this public charity.

The LSM provides a universal framework for understanding (as well as evaluating and trouble-shooting) ANY LIVING SYSTEM and its development. A living system could be biological or organizational. Examples: Plants and animals; human beings as individuals, families, tribes or groups; organizations and corporations; neighborhoods, villages, towns and cities; counties, states, provinces and regions… Life Systems Model on Scribd.com Architectural View

Active applications of the Life Systems Model:

  • The LSM provides the basis for our Stewardship Dialogue content we use to Engage Locally.
  • Our Stewardship Development Center framework is based on the Life Systems Model as one axis, with the iCASH Model on another axis, and a third axis to accommodate core curriculum or other required outcomes based on the needs of the community accessing the SDC at any given time.
  • Stellar Impact International is a for-profit company that develops executive level training programs based on the Life Systems Model.
  • The Stellar Impact Foundation as a public charity is chartered with providing visibility and access to executive level education opportunities (leadership development opportunities) to people of all cultures in any city-community where SIF has opened a Stewardship Development Center.
